Our story

[DRAFT — pending Princeton's review, not published]

Pawsly started with a fur problem. Two cats, one dog, and a home that was slowly turning into fur — on the couch, the car seat, the good throw blanket. Most brushes just moved the problem around instead of solving it, so we built the tools that actually get ahead of it, starting at the undercoat instead of chasing hair after it's already everywhere.

Along the way, the ask kept getting bigger. Shedding wasn't the only part of grooming pet parents dread — nail trims are their own kind of stressful, for the pet and for whoever's holding the paw. So the shed kit got some company: quieter, gentler tools for the parts of grooming everyone puts off.

That's what Pawsly is now — a small grooming essentials brand, still run the same way it started: test it ourselves first, only sell what actually works, and never dress it up as more than it is.

From the undercoat to the nails, we're just trying to make the parts of pet care everyone dreads a little easier. For you and them.
